Ortho-Bionomy

I am a student of Ortho-bionomy and have been interning with Kalpesh R. Patel (https://kalpeshrpatel.com) for several years of intensive study. I offer ortho-bionomy treatments where the client remains fully clothed as well as incorporating this modality into a traditional soft tissue massage treatment. My specific interest and training is in visceral manipulation looking at the underlying adaptations to dysfunction in the organs and lymph drainage pathways that can be the source of muscular pain. Kalpesh Patel and I also offer collaboration between our practices in assessment, treatment plans, and follow up care.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

I am certified in the Vodder technique of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD-C) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS). I assist the body's movement of fluid pressures through specialized rhythmic hand motions that stretch and release the skin where the lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes reside. My training allows me to help clients manage post-traumatic and post-surgical edema, as well as assisting with other chronic pathologies such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, migraines, among other pain conditions.

Therapeutic Massage

I use a wide variety of therapeutic modalities and have the tools to adjust and customize to each person's needs. This includes 'Low Impact' massage for individuals who struggle with medical conditions such as cancer and heart failure and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD-C) Vodder technique. I integrate traditional massage modalities such as Swedish, Connective Tissue and Neuro-Muscular Therapy with Polarity therapy and Ortho-Bionomy. All massage is therapeutic and professional in nature and complies with all Florida licensed massage guidelines and laws. Sexual harassment of any type will not be tolerated.
